Heceta Haven, started out as a 1 room cabin in 1945. It's been added onto and remodeled over the years, and is now a spacious 1200 square foot house, that sleeps 10. It's the last house on a short, dead end street in one of Heceta Beach's original neighborhoods. It has an ocean view and is only a 2 minute walk down a wooded trail, next to a babbling brook, that you access right from the front yard. Nestled amongh the windswept pines & rhododendrons, it's on a double lot and very privaIte. It has a large wrap around deck with wind protected views, and a rear deck with views off of the family room. In December of 2010 Heceta Haven was updated with new windows in every room, which has made it brighter & warmer, and solved the musty smell which you might see mentioned in old reviews.

Entering the front door, into the dining room/kitchen which has open beamed ceilings and a great view from the dining room table. There's a bar with chairs, for the kids to play games or do craft projects. Off of both sides of this area, is a sitting room, and then a bedroom. The sitting rooms both have bi-fold doors, and one has a full size sofa sleeper, and one a full size fold flat sofa. There is a bathroom with shower stall as well off the main area.The master bedroom has it's own bath and a shower/tub combo and a 19 inch tv with cable & DV Player

Off the back of the house is a large family room, it also has a queen sofa sleeper, a view and a door to the back yard, and deck. With the two over stuffed chairs, the large rocking chair, the sofa, the leather easy chair, and the 32 inch LCD TV, theres room for the whole family to gather and enjoy a movie from the collection provided or watch the Ducks game. There is also a sony stereo, with AM/FM & CD Player.

The kitchen has an electric range, microwave an apartment size dishwasher, and a frost free refrigertator and is well stocked with all the things you'll need for a family gathering.  The home can accommodate a total of ten people in the 5 separate sleeping area's. The home has 3 cable TVs, 2 VCRs, 2 DVD players, telephone, DSL-Wi-Fi, stereo, and an apartment sized stackable washer/dryer.

Enjoy elegant fine dining with an ocean view at the Driftwood Shores resort just 1/2 block away, or enjoy Burgers & Brew "where the locals hang out" at Jerry's Place, just 2 blocks away. Heceta Haven is a short drive from the Historic Old Town Florence gift shops, wine bars, coffee bistros, fabulous seafood restaurants and the casino. Explore some of the best fishing on one of 27 local lakes, or play out on some of the finest sand dunes, and state parks that Oregon has to offer.

Heceta Haven , has parking in front and in back so can accomodate ATV & Boat Trailers. Enjoy the sound of the surf and watch blazing sunsets of orange & gold.
